The Shapiro Library supports Southern New Hampshire University students, faculty, and staff in exploring new technologies, learning new skills, and developing innovation through the equipment, software, and tools available in the Innovation Lab & Makerspace.
Our goals are to foster creativity, innovation, and exploration in a safe and accessible learning environment. It is our sincere hope that members of the SNHU community will use the Shapiro Library Innovation Lab & Makerspace to become:
- Users who can appreciate, understand, and apply various technologies to their everyday life, career and community projects.
- Innovators who can think of new ways to use technologies, to adapt and change them for the betterment of society and their own needs, and to experiment without fear of failure.
- Makers who can build or create new things, concepts, and theories, and collaborate with their peers and colleagues to share experiences, ideas, and support.
