ScienceDirect only functions correctly using Microsoft Internet Explorer version 9.x, 10.x and 11.x and with browsers running on Microsoft Windows operating systems.

If you are trying to open an article in ScienceDirect after you have logged in with your SNHU email and you are asked to "pay" for the article, we suggest changing to one of the supported version of Microsoft Internet Explorer listed above. You may also try right-clicking on the article PDF and saving it to your desktop. Then open the article from your desktop to view.  For Mac users, try using Safari as your browser.

If none of the above suggestions resolved the issue, try checking the status of ScienceDirect to determine if the problem may be due to a known issue that we are working to correct, if ScienceDirect may be down or disrupted for maintenance, if there is an outage, etc. or report the problem.
