Are you using Internet Explorer or Firefox?
If you are using Internet Explorer and receive the error "Internet Explorer has modified this page to help prevent cross-site scripting" or just see an "X" in the top corner, you will need to change your browser settings. Please follow these instructions:
- In the menu bar, click on "Tools" or the "gear" icon (in IE9). Then select "Internet Options."
- Click on the "Security" tab, select the "Internet" zone, and click on the "Custom level" button.
- Scroll down to the "Enable XSS Filter" option under the "Scripting" section.
- Select "Disable" under "Enable XSS filter" and then click "OK."
- Click "OK" again.
If you are using Firefox and your first attempt to register fails, please wait a few minutes and try again or try another browser. The problem has been reported to Books 24/7 and this a Firefox security issue. They are working on a solution.
Alternatively, try registering using the Google Chrome internet browser.
If none of the above suggestions resolved the issue, try checking the status of Books 24x7 to determine if the problem may be due to a known issue that we are working to correct, if Books 24x7 may be down or disrupted for maintenance, if there is an outage, etc. or report the problem and we'll contact you to help.
