What do I need to know about using videos from Kanopy in the LMS?

Kanopy includes PDA content with unlimited user access. Individual licenses may be purchased for 3 years, at $350 per title. 

Recommendation: Explore other video databases and confirm that the video you wish to use here is the best. Fill out the Check Library License Type request form to have the library purchase the license.

 Some Risk   Due to the expense of the licensing for these videos, make sure that SNHU is spending money wisely on content that is important for learners. Please have your eLearning Librarian secure the license, otherwise we cannot guarantee that this will be available for users.

Shapiro library acquires material using a variety of licenses and access models. Some of these models are better suited to long term use as learning resources in the LMS. Film and video resources tend to be higher cost and have a shorter lifespan.
