Content Creation Librarians (includes Director(s) of Information Literacy and Manager of Information Literacy) are consultants on Global Campus program developments. We support teams throughout the development cycle by: attending checkpoints, daily stand-ups, creating information literacy and library learning content, providing training opportunities and answering questions via email and ServiceNow.
We can provide information and assistance on a range of different items related to the library, resources, accessibility and usability. Here are some examples:
- Assistance in searching and finding library, OER or other open content for courses
- Creating programmatic or course related library research guides
- Creating learning objects such as videos or tutorials
- Assessing the accessibility levels or potential issues with library and open resources
- Assessing the fair use and copyright concerns with OER or web resources
- Building permanent links to library resources for the LMS
- Subject matter expertise on research methods, information literacy concepts
- Ideation & creation of assessments or projects in collaboration with SMEs & IDs
- Consulting on research or library related projects to ensure we have the resources that students can do what is asked
