Accessing the CIA World Factbook
You can access the CIA World Factbook This link opens in a new window by following these steps:
- Select A-Z Database List on the library homepage under "Quick Links"
- Choose "C" from the alphabet
- Find "CIA World Factbook" on the list of databases available there.
Using the CIA World Factbook
Follow these steps to search for information on countries, regions of the world, and the oceans:
- Select Countries from the top right navigation bar to find an alphabetical list of countries or scroll down the page until you see the Explore Countries section and search for the country needed in the box.
- For information on regions of the world scroll down the main page until you see the section titled The World & Its Regions, here you can select a specific region for more information.
- To find information on the world's oceans scroll further down the main page until you see the section labeled Oceans. You will be able to select the ocean of interest.
