Accessing the Economist Intelligence Unit (EIU)
You can access EIU - The Economist Intelligence Unit This link opens in a new window by following these steps:
- Select A-Z Database List on the library homepage under "Quick Links"
- Choose "E" from the alphabet
- Find "Economist Intelligence Unit (EIU)" on the list of databases available there.
Using the Economist Intelligence Unit (EIU)
Help finding global political insights, policy analysis, economic assessments, forecasts and data. Also useful for country analysis, economic and commodity forecasts, industry outlooks and macro-economic indicators. There are many options for information, here are a few that may be useful:
- To find Country information from the top navigation bar select Geography, then either search the country needed or browse the list by region or country.
- For reports, select the Reports option from the top navigation bar. There will be an option to search by geography. Please note that not all countries have reports. You will see the option for the latest reports and a tab for archived information.
- To locate specific data use the Data tab on the top navigation bar. First, select a data series, second, select a geography, and then select the time from and whether to report the data as a table or a chart.
