Accessing Literature - Gale
You can access Literature - Gale This link opens in a new window by following these steps:
- Select A-Z Database List on the library homepage under "Quick Links"
- Choose "L" from the alphabet
- Find "Literature - Gale" on the list of databases available there.
Using Literature - Gale
Follow these steps to find articles and materials:
- Type your keywords into the Literature - Gale search box.
- From your search results, click on the title of an item to see information about the resource and the full text.
- Above the full text, there is a "Download" button where you can get the PDF, and a "Cite" button to get a full citation in APA, MLA, or Chicago Style.

Gale Literature offers an option to browse topics, conduct a person search, or do a works search. These options can be found on the navigation bar under the database search bar header.
Browse Topics
View topics based on time period, subject, theme, literary movement, and more.
Person Search
The Person Search allows users to search for authors based on gender, ethnicity, nationality, occupation and more.
Works Search
The Work Search allows users to locate literary works based on type of work, original language, author gender, ethnicity, nationality and more.
