Accessing General OneFile - Gale

You can access General OneFile - Gale This link opens in a new window by following these steps:

  1. Select A-Z Database List on the library homepage under "Quick Links"
  2. Choose "G" from the alphabet
  3. Find "General OneFile - Gale" on the list of databases available there. 

Using the General OneFile- Gale Database 

Follow these steps to run a search, access resources, and get auto-generated citations:

Basic Search

  1. Type your keywords General OneFile search box. 
  2. From your search results, click on the title of an article or other material to see information about the resource and the full text.
  3. Above the full text, in the top right navigation bar, there is a "Download" button where you can get the PDF, and a "Cite" button to get a full citation in APA, MLA, or Chicago Style.

Topic Browse

  1. Under the search box, in the section for Browse by Topic, select a subject.
  2. Select a subtopic from the list provided.
  3. Click on the title of an item from the results list to see more information about the resource and the full text.
  4. Above the full text, in the top right navigation bar, there is a "Download" button where you can get the PDF, and a "Cite" button to get a full citation in APA, MLA, or Chicago Style.
