Accessing Business Source Ultimate - EBSCO
You can access Business Source Ultimate - EBSCO This link opens in a new window by following these steps:
- Select A-Z Database List on the library homepage under "Quick Links"
- Choose "B" from the alphabet
- Find "Business Source Ultimate - EBSCO" on the list of databases available there.
Search Tips
You can do a keyword search using the search box at the top of the page. To help make your search keywords provide more relevant results try using quotation marks around any important phrases or specific terms. Also, consider using Boolean searching, which connects the keywords using AND or OR.
For example, if you are researching Time Management, you could try searches like these:
- "Time Management"
- "Time Management" AND Employees
- "Time Management" AND Employees AND (Productivity OR Profit OR Performance)
Click on the title of a resource to see the resource description, including the authors, abstract, and publication information. You can access the full text using the full text option buttons below the title section (it may say Access Full Text, PDF Full Text, or something similar). You can retrieve an auto-generated citation using the Cite tool (quotation mark icon) above the title and to the right.
Using the Business Searching Interface (BSI)
The Business Searching Interface, or BSI, is a new feature available in Business Source Ultimate that allows you to explore the specialized business resources in the database, including:
- Leading business publications, including trade magazines and academic journals
- Country reports
- Industry reports
- SWOT analyses
- Case studies
- and more!
All of this content can also be access through the standard search bar and a keyword search, but the BSI gives you the opportunity to browse the specialized resources, more easily connect with related resources, and discover unexpected information to support your business research.
