Please visit our Geography research guide, which organizes and provides links to many library resources and outside websites that are useful for geography-related research.
Library Databases
The A-Z Database List will allow you to search individual databases for geography resources. After going to the A-Z Database List, you can choose a letter from the alphabet across the top of the list to find a database by title. You can also use the "All Subjects" drop down to view a list of databases associated with a particular subject, such as Geography.
For quick geographical reference type information, try Credo This link opens in a new window. You will find a Subject category for Geography right on the landing page. There are over 1500 topic pages under this category which you can browse or search.
Publication Finder
The Publication Finder This link opens in a new window allows you to search for journals by title or ISSN. You can also browse by discipline.
You can type in the title or ISSN of a geography journal using the search box at the top of the page, browse for journals by title using the alphabet in the middle of the page, or browse by subject. If you browse by subject, you can narrow down your results further by selecting subtopics or publishers.
Once you find a journal, you will see availability and location of each journal listed under the title. For example:
The dates provided for each database under the journal title tell you the full text access range for that database. If you click on the database title, it will open the journal page within that database, and you can do a keyword search to find relevant articles or browse specific issues.
