How to find quarterly reports, including income statements and balance sheets, using Mergent ONLINE

Step by Step Directions

You can access company income statements and balance sheets in Mergent ONLINE This link opens in a new window by following these steps:

1. Select A-Z Database List on the library homepage under "Quick Links"
2. Choose "M" from the alphabet
3. Find "Mergent ONLINE" on the list of databases available there.
4. Search for a company in the search box under “Company Search - Enter symbol or Company Name ^”
   • As you type, the Search box will populate with suggestions. Click on your company and you will be brought to a company page.
5. Select the Company Financials tab.
6. Select from the first drop-down menu for reporting period in Quarters or Annuals.

   

7. Select the report section type (Balance Sheet, Income Statement, etc.)

   

8. Select the reporting timeframe (3 Years/Quarters, 5, 7, 10, etc..) for which you want data.

   

9. Click the Refresh button to have your selections take effect.

   

10. For a company’s most recent single-quarterly report, use the Report Builder tab.

How to find quarterly reports, including income statements and balance sheets, using D&B Hoovers

You can access company income statements & balance sheets D&B Hoovers by following these steps:

1. Select A-Z Database List on the library homepage. under "Quick Links"
2. Choose "D" from the alphabet
3. Find "D&B Hoovers" on the list of databases available there.
4. Search for a company in the search box at the top of the page:

   

5. In the results page, find the company (there may be subsidiaries, etc. mixed in)
6. You will then be on the company’s page.  On the left-hand side of the screen there is a navigation box.  Scroll down until you see Financials.
7. You can then select either Annual or Interim Income Statements and Balance Sheets.

   

8. You can then download and/or print the information. 

Please log out of D&B Hoovers when you are finished using the database. You can log out by clicking on "Rolling User" in the top right-hand corner and then selecting "Logout"
