FAQ: How do I download and use the O'Reilly app for my phone?

Our O'Reilly database offers an app, that you can download on your Android or Apple phone.

Follow these steps to download the app onto your compatible device: 

1. Open your device's store (App Store or Google Play)
2. Search for "O'Reilly" or "O'Reilly Media, Inc."                                                                        
3. Download the app to your phone
4. Open the app
5. Enter your school email (e.g. john.smith@snhu.edu) and select "Sign In" 
6. On the welcome screen, click Sign In and on the next screen, enter your @snhu.edu email and click Sign In again.
7. The following screen will indicate your @snhu.edu email address and show "I'm with: Southern New Hampshire University." Click Sign in with Single Sign On (SSO)                                     
8. On the next screen, enter your SNHU Web Account username and password and sign in.
9. You can now start using the app

Searching

1. At any of the tab, click on the magnifying glass to initiate a search:

3. At "Your O'Reilly" page, you can read your downloads. You can also look at playlists that you have saved.

4. At the "Discover" tab, check out the recommendations and other courses available.
