FAQ: How do I find historical market share data in the Shapiro Library?

We recommend these databases and strategies for finding historical market share data:

• Please try a search in Statista for your company or industry. In many cases, they do have market share data for a range of years. You can just search for your company or industry or try a search like this: [your company] AND market share. If there are any charts, this should bring them up.

• Another database that has this kind of data is Business Insights: Global. Do a search for your company and then look on the left for the link that says Market Share Reports. You should see links to market share reports from previous years. 

• Finally, try a search for [your company] AND market share in our business article databases like ABI/INFORM Collection - ProQuest or Business Source Ultimate - EBSCO.
