FAQ: Where can I find JAMA (Journal of the American Medical Association)?

Search the Publication Finder

You can find the Journal of the American Medical Association (JAMA) by searching in the Publication Finder This link opens in a new window. 

1. Start on the library homepage.
2. Click on the "Find Resources" menu.
3. Select "Newspapers, Magazines, & Journal Articles (Publication Finder)" in the drop down menu.

   

4.  Enter "JAMA" in the search box and click the magnifying glass icon to search.
5. Select "JAMA: Journal of the American Medical Association" from the results list.
6. Click on "American Medical Association" link under "Full Text Access"  (as of March 2024, the Shapiro Library has access to JAMA from 1/07/1998 - Present).
7. You will be able to browse or search the journal's issues to find full text articles.
