Options

 There are two ways to view the full text of eBooks without downloading the whole book.  

  1. Read the eBook online, which does require an Internet connection. 
  2. Download a chapter of eBook to your device

Reading the Full-Text of eBooks Online

From the eBooks full record page, 

  1. Click on the PDF Full Text or the EPUB option (if available) from the Access Options drop-down menu near the top of the page.   2. The full text of the eBook will appear. Use the navigation arrows at the bottom of the page to navigate through the eBook as you read online. 

Download a PDF of a Chapter

For most EBSCO eBooks, there is an option to download a PDF of a chapter or two which you can then save it to your computer indefinitely and/or print it.  

Steps

  1. On the eBook title details page, scroll to the middle of the page to find the Chapter download, print, email & save section. This will let you know how many pages you can download/print/email at a time. Often it will be 60 or 100 pages per session.

  2. Identify the chapter you would like to download from the table of contents menu on the right and click on the download icon to the right of the title.download icon to the right of the title of chapter in the table of contents
  3. A pop-up window will appear. Select if you want to download the whole chapter or a custom page range. Then click on the download button.Download pop up window for an eBook 
  4.  A new browser window should open with the full-text chapter PDF. If not, check you downloads folder. You will also have the option to print or save the PDF to your device.
