FAQ: How do I access the Profile Ranking Index data in SRDS Media Services?

You can find profile ranking index by following these steps:
- Select A-Z Database List on the library homepage under "Quick Links"
- Choose "S" from the alphabet
- Find SRDS Media Services on the list of databases available there.
- Click “Log in” in the upper right-hand corner
- Click “Claritas 360” in the navigation bar
- You will then have to click the purple “Login to Claritas 360” button in the center of the screen.
- Once you are in Claritas 360, click the “Reports” box
- Click on “Segmentation Reports”
- Click on “Profiler Reports”
- Click on “Profile Ranking Index”
- Click on “PRIZM premier”
- Select Consumer Profile A You have the option to search for a consumer behavior or browse by clicking on the blue arrow next to “Claritas Profiles”

- On the next page you will select other consumer behaviors to compare
- Click Submit
- Click on “Go to my jobs” in the popup
- It may take a few minutes for your report to generate. When it is ready it will appear in the “My Jobs” area.
- To view your report, click on the blue report number.
- Click on “Report Output” to download your report.
- Click on the “Table View” tab.
- For example, “Minutes spent traveling to work one way 30 - 59 minutes (A)” & Food products household used past 7 days (HHLD Candy"
- Profile List information
- Total profile count: The number of people or households in the database engaged in the selected behavior (e.g. traveling to work one way 30-59 minutes).
- Total Base Count: Total people (this is denoted with an A) or households in the database.
- Total Profile Users/100 HHs: Total people engage in the behavior per 100 households.
- Consumer Behavior (Food products household used past 7 days…)
- Count: Number of people who engage in both behaviors
- Minutes spent traveling to work one way 30 - 59 minutes and people who ate candy in the past 7 days.
- Users/100 HHs: Number of people who engage in both behaviors per 100 households
- Index: The likelihood that a person who engages in one consumer behavior will engage in the comparison consumer behavior. 100 is average
- People who spent 30-59 minutes traveling one way are 2% more likely than average to have used candy in the past seven days.
- ROC: Measures the correlation between the comparison profile and selected profile.
- The profile for using candy correlates more highly with people who spent less than 10 minutes traveling to work one way. 1 is the highest ROC and -1 is the lowest.
- Count: Number of people who engage in both behaviors
