Citing Personal Interviews
According to the APA Style page Personal Communications This link opens in a new window you will not include a reference citation since interviews are not considered recoverable data, but you will include an in-text citation. Include the initial(s) and surname of the person interviewed, and provide as exact a date as possible You can find an example of the in-text citation below:
General Format

OR
A. A. Author (personal communication, Month Day, Year)
Example In-Text Citation
