NOTE: If you currently have an open Interlibrary Loan request, please CHECK YOUR SNHU EMAIL every day in case we need to contact you about your request. Due to current reduced staffing, we recommend allowing the maximum time possible for processing your ILL requests.
The complete process to fulfill an interlibrary loan request for an academic journal article takes around 2-3 business days on average (book requests may take longer due to shipping). The timeframe for materials requested to be delivered will depend upon the availability of the resource requested, the provider’s location, and the means of transmission (digital or print) from the lending library.
The Interlibrary Loan (ILL) Portal is available 24/7 to view the status of your request.
*If your request has been delivered to the ILL Portal and you never received an email to notify you of this, please let the Interlibrary Loan Office know as this might mean there is an issue with your account notifications*
You can contact the Interlibrary Loan Office by email, ill@snhu.edu, or by phone, 603.665.2157 8:30 am - 4:30 pm Eastern Time Monday through Friday.
