  1. Select A-Z Database List on the library homepage under "Quick Links"
  2. Choose "E" from the alphabet
  3. Find "Education Database- ProQuest" on the list of databases available there.

Using Education Database- ProQuest

Follow these steps to run a search, access full text resources, and get an auto-generated citation for materials:

Basic Search

  1. Type your keywords into the Education Database search box.
  2. From your search results, click on the title to see information about the resource and the full text.
  3. The top right of the page, to the right of the title, you will see options to download, "Cite", print and more.

Advanced Search

To help make your search keywords provide more relevant results try using the Advanced Search option under the Biological Science search box. Put quotation marks around any important phrases or specific terms. Also, consider using Boolean searching, which connects the keywords using AND or OR.

For example, if you are researching Multicultural Education you could try searches like these:

  • "Multicultural Education"
  • "Multicultural Education" AND Cultural Awareness
  • "Multicultural Education" AND Cultural Awareness AND (Diversity Curriculum OR Inclusive Teaching Practices)

To further limit your results, look to the right side of the results page in the Results box. There are options to narrow results to peer-reviewed, select a specific date range, choose source type, or even narrow further by subject.
