There are several databases where you can find prices for stocks, including:
Value Line This link opens in a new window
Mergent Market Atlas This link opens in a new window
Capital IQ Pro (Standard & Poor's) This link opens in a new window
In all of these databases, you can search by either the company name or ticker symbol This link opens in a new window, but we highly recommend searching by ticker symbol, especially if the company is traded in multiple markets. If you do not know your company’s ticker symbol, try this Ticker Symbol Lookup This link opens in a new window.
If you search by company name and see multiple options available, look for one on either the New York Stock Exchange (NYS or NYSE) or NASDAQ (or NAS), as these are the major exchanges in the US.
Also, please note that in all of these databases, the stock prices are updated daily, so you will see the closing price for the most recent day of trading.
