You can search for a book by call number by using the Online Library Catalog and following these steps:
- From the main page of the catalog use the "More Searches" drop down near the upper-right side of the screen to choose "Call Number"
- Click "Go".
- Once you are on the Call Number Search page, you can enter a call number into the search box and choose how you want the results sorted using the available drop down menu. You can type as much or as little of the call number as you want. For example:
- 641.6 Ala
- 641
- QA 402.6 R65 1986
- QA 402
- Click "Submit" to search by the call number you have entered in the search box.
