FAQ: What is RIA Checkpoint and how do I access it?

RIA Checkpoint includes RIA Federal Tax Library, RIA State and Local Tax Library, and RIA International Tax Library. The FASB Codification & Governmental Accounting Research System (previously called RIA Checkpoint with FASB Codification) database includes access to financial accounting and reporting standards from the Financial Accounting and Standards Board (FASB).

You can access FASB Codification & Governmental Accounting Research System, RIA Checkpoint (BASIC Account), and RIA Checkpoint (Personalized Accounts) on the A - Z Database List by following these steps (check out the video below for more information):

1. From the library homepage, select "A-Z Database List" under "Quick Links"
2. Choose "R" and scroll down until you find RIA Checkpoint

Students in an accounting or auditing course, please contact your professor for a username and password.

Please note: If you do not need the FASB Codification, you may access RIA Checkpoint without an additional login.
