The library has several resources to help you learn a language. We subscribe to Mango Languages This link opens in a new window -- an online language learning resource. You can Access Mango Languages by:
- Selecting the A-Z Database List from the library homepage under "Quick Links"
- Chose "M" from the alphabet list.
- Find "Mango Languages"
Here are some other options where you may find resources to help you:
- Library Book Search: This searches our book and ebook collections. Search for the language you're interested in learning or a more general term (e.g. language learning tools).
- Films on Demand This link opens in a new window: This streaming video database has educational online videos including some language learning content. Films on Demand is available on the A-Z Database List.
- LinkedIn Learning This link opens in a new window: LinkedIn Learning provides video courses taught by experts in their fields. LinkedIn Learning is available on the A-Z Database List. Note: This resource is more likely to give you content on language learning in general, rather than content to learn specific languages.
- Open Library This link opens in a new window : This is a free online searchable library with online copies of books published in multiple languages. You can also find it linked on our A-Z Database List.
- Duolingo This link opens in a new window: This is not a library resource, but a free online tool for language learning.
