How do I build a permanent or stable link to eBooks in the eBooks Collection or Harvard Business Review Press databases (EBSCOhost)?

When a resource is not owned by the library, there is an inherent risk that it will be removed from the database. You can check to see if the library can acquire a perpetual unlimited user ebook using the Library Resource Request Form. It is important to note that most database content is a subscription service, with resources the library does not control. Please consult a librarian for article selection within databases if you are unsure.
Linking to the record page is considered best practice, however, links can also be generated to specific e-book pages or chapters. Please note that the usability and accessibility of EBSCO e-books is lower when linked directly into the text.
- Search eBooks Collection (EBSCOhost), Harvard Business Review Press (EBSCOhost) or PsycBooks (EBSCOhost) and locate your desired eBook.
- Click on the eBook's title to open the detailed record page.
- The URL in your browser bar is a permanent link that you can use in the LMS.
The permanent URL that is ready to placed in the LMS will look like this: https://research.ebsco.com/c/cyb354/search/details/s7ihoi5rbb?db=nlebk
