Accessing Science in Context - Gale
You can access the Science In Context - Gale This link opens in a new window by following these steps:
- Select A-Z Database List on the library homepage under "Quick Links"
- Choose "S" from the alphabet
- Find "Science In Context - Gale" on the list of databases available there.
Using Science in Context - Gale
Follow these steps to run a search, access resources, and get auto-generated citations:
Basic Search
- Type your keywords into the Science in Context search box.
- From your search results, click on the title of an article or other material to see information about the resource and the full text.
- Above the full text, in the top right navigation bar, there is a "Download" button where you can get the PDF, and a "Cite" button to get a full citation in APA, MLA, or Chicago Style.
Browse Topics
- Scroll down the main database page until you see the section for Browse Topics
- Issues are grouped based on categories, select a category to see all of the topics listed or use the option to Browse All Issues
- Click on an issue and you will see a topic overview and a variety of resources on that topic.
- Select a specific resource to see the full text.
