  1. Select A-Z Database List on the library homepage under "Quick Links"
  2. Choose "S" from the alphabet
  3. Find "Science In Context - Gale" on the list of databases available there.

Using Science in Context - Gale

Follow these steps to run a search, access resources, and get auto-generated citations:

Basic Search

  1. Type your keywords into the Science in Context search box. 
  2. From your search results, click on the title of an article or other material to see information about the resource and the full text.
  3. Above the full text, in the top right navigation bar, there is a "Download" button where you can get the PDF, and a "Cite" button to get a full citation in APA, MLA, or Chicago Style.

Browse Topics

  1. Scroll down the main database page until you see the section for Browse Topics
  2. Issues are grouped based on categories, select a category to see all of the topics listed or use the option to Browse All Issues
  3. Click on an issue and you will see a topic overview and a variety of resources on that topic.
  4. Select a specific resource to see the full text.
