If you have multiple browser tabs or windows open, check to see if the chat box is located on another tab or window.
Librarians will often include links to FAQs or other helpful resources in the chat sessions, and some students find that clicking on these links disconnects their chat session. You can reduce this risk by right-clicking on the link and choosing “Open link in a new tab or window.”
