How do I build a permanent or stable link to eBooks or videos in O'Reilly?

O'Reilly uses a deep link protocol (NOT OpenAthens) in which a specific URL prefix must be used to build permanent links to resources in the Safari Database.
High Risk Subscribed license which O'Reilly or the publisher can pull the eBook at any time. Unlimited users but ebook can be pulled. Does not currently have a workable accessibility protocol. O'Reilly ebooks are considered a High Risk Resource and are NOT recommended for required course resources.
- Perform a search in O'Reilly and locate your desired eBook.
- Click on the title of your eBook to open the table of contents or desired book chapter.
- Locate the URL in your browser's address bar.
- Do not copy the entire URL. Instead, copy all characters past the https://www.learning.oreilly.com, which will look something like this for eBooks: /library/view/cybersecurity-attack/9781788475297/ or like this for videos: /videos/comptia-security-sy0-201/9780789740007/9780789740007-SY0201_i20
- Add the partial URL you copied above to the end of the prefix provided in the text box below:
- Use the URL you built from the address bar URL and the provided prefix in the LMS (ask an eLearning team member for help infolit@snhu.edu if needed)
The permanent URL that is ready to placed in the LMS will look like this: : https://go.oreilly.com/SNHU/library/view/cybersecurity-attack/9781788475297/
Please note that some videos do not have captions and the vendor does not turn around captioning requests quickly.
