FAQ: How do I access Academic Support from Brightspace (to get written feedback, book an appointment, get help with citations, or get content specific drop-in tutoring)?

1. Access Brightspace This link opens in a new window. Please bookmark this site for easy access.
2. Find your course in Brightspace and then click on "Academic Support" in the navigation bar.

   

3. To get written feedback on your writing, click the Written Feedback link in the top navigation menu.

   

4. To book an appointment with a Peer Tutor for your subject area, or to refer yourself to Academic Coaching for in-depth learning help, click “Pre-scheduled Support.

   

5. For help with a quick question about your homework prompts, small excerpts of your writing (like a thesis), math homework support, citation questions, and more, please click “24/7 Drop-in Tutoring” at the top navigation menu. Please see the below screenshot for an example of how to fill out the form. This will connect you to a tutor in minutes!
